The Professor was a genius, hence the nickname. He was a very complicated person with many idiosyncracies, but was a loyal friend to anyone who dared to understand him. He had a ferocious temper, but could be brought to tears with a sad story.

He engineered most of the first album - The Adventures of Captain Rumbelly and the Panhead Pirates - and played many little parts here and there. The first time he heard Don't Cuss, God Dammit! he fell to the floor in laughter and soiled his pants.

Robert died mysteriously in Albuquerque in 2003. He was one-of-a-kind!
