REWRITING ECCLESIASTES

"To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven:

-A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck which has been planted;

-A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

-A time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance;

-A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing."

Very nice but allow me to continue:

-A time to turn your cheek, and a time to strike back in righteous indignation; a time for self-restraint, and a time for unrestrained jubilation;

-A time to get drunk, and a time for utter sobriety; a time to be socially unacceptable, and a time to be a part of society;

-A time for the truth, and a time for some tact; a time for vows, and a time to retract;

-A time to act fast, and a time to proscrastinate; a time to to make love, and a time to masturbate.

There, that should just about do it!
